Richmond Doulas is not a doula agency but a non-profit collective of doulas serving the Richmond area.  Richmond Doulas’ current membership includes 50 doulas with a combined experience of over 600 families served.  We are just as dedicated to supporting each other as we are to the families that we serve. When you decide to work with any one of our doulas you can be confident that your doula has the support of our collective membership behind them. One of our requirements for membership is that doulas be trained by a certifying organization, so you can also be sure that your RD doula has met recognized doula training standards.

Finding the doula that is the perfect fit for your family is extremely important and well worth the investment in time that it may take.  Richmond Doulas can help streamline this process for you. If you are interested in working with a doula for your birth or postpartum, contact us here with your birth time and any specifications. After a few days you will be provided with a list of doulas that meet your criteria and are available around your birth time

Mission Statement
Richmond Doulas works to promote awareness and education regarding options for pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. We provide and encourage networking, cooperation and furthering education opportunities for the birth professional community and promote the general public's use of and access to doulas.
